Ciconia nigra
Identification suggestions (from the community or from AI) and the information here may be wrong; this app never confirms that anything is safe to eat. Do not consume wild plants, mushrooms or seafood without expert confirmation. Nothing here is medical advice.
Do not handle an injured bird bare-handed; it jabs at the eyes with its long pointed bill. Cover it with a cloth and call wildlife authorities. It is also extremely shy: approaching a nest disrupts incubation and can kill the chicks, so keep well away.
