Calvatia gigantea
The giant puffball is a white, ball-shaped puffball usually 10–50 cm across and sometimes up to 80 cm. Its interior is white when immature and greenish-brown when mature. It can be confused with the poisonous earthball and with young Amanitas still in their egg stage.
Found in meadows, fields and deciduous forests in late summer and autumn.
Found in temperate areas throughout the world.

Never eat a wild mushroom without showing it to an expert
No mushroom should be picked for eating based on this app or a photo. Deadly species look very like the ones foragers look for, and symptoms start hours later. If you suspect poisoning, call your local poison centre or emergency number right away (in Türkiye: 114).
